Butternut Squash Soup


One medium size butternut squash
Granny Smith green apple
Red Onion
Medium size potato
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon of Persian allspice
Water – 4 cups
½ cup of yellow lentils
1 cube chicken broth
2 tablespoons of butter

Cooking directions:

  • Chop butternut squash into cubes
  • Chop potato into cubes
  • Chop apple into cubes
  • Chop onion into cubes
  • heat the butter
  • add vegetables
  • add spice and salt
  • add water and chick broth cube
  • Let it boil until vegetables are soft (20min)
  • Blend in the blender.
